Diagnostic Waxing

Possibly one of the most important and understated stages of treatment planning. The diagnostic wax mock up is a truly remakable stress buster when planning for success. Our team of highly skilled technicians never underestimate the importance of occlusal and smile design  principles when constructing your  diagnostic wax  mock ups.

These allow your patient to hold and take home  a 3D mock up to agree their new look with those that  they trust and  for you  to record patient acceptance to  prevent any nasty suprises emerging later on for the whole team. Remember everything is flexible at this stage, if you or your patient are not delighted with them  we will alter them until you are.

These models can be prepared by our technicians with 1mm reduction and knife edge finishing margins and temps made for you to reline with pmm. Alternatively,  temporaries  can made in surgery  for the patient from vacuum formed stents which  allow the surgeon to evaluate occlusion, phonetics and aesthetics. After patient acceptance we will copy them when making the definitive restorations.
